UMASS AMHERST LIBRARIES CONDUCTS WEBSITE SURVEY
Amherst, MA - The UMass Amherst Libraries is conducting a brief survey to gather information for the upcoming redesign of the library website. Users of the website are invited to complete the survey at: http://www.library.umass.edu/website-redesign/, through December 1. All members of the campus community as well as Massachusetts residents are encouraged to participate in the survey and have a chance to win a USB drive.
The website provides online access to the services and resources of the Du Bois Library and Learning Commons, Integrated Sciences and Engineering Library, and Image Collection Library.
The survey will provide feedback about current use of the library website and desired new features. Information gathered in the survey as well as focus groups and usability testing will be used to guide the design of a new website. The Libraries is committed to continually improving its website through formal evaluation and user feedback in order to ensure that the site remains vital and usable.
For additional information or to volunteer to participate in focus groups, contact Kelcy Shepherd (kshepher@library.umass.edu, (413) 545-6844).
